About SNAP Alabama
SNAP (Spay/Neuter Action Project) Alabama aims to reduce the number of neglected pets by providing low-income individuals and families spay/neutering services along with basic vaccinations at a low cost in conjunction with participating veterinarians in the area. Some families are even eligible to receive those services for free!
In addition to providing these services for Huntsville and Madison's community members, they also run their own animal rescue.
Why Jasmine Chose SNAP Alabama
Jasmine is a very proud pet owner and loves that SNAP Alabama gives everyone a chance to experience the joy of owning a pet. "A common reason that people don't adopt pets is because they can't afford the vaccinations or a spay/neuter surgery. SNAP Alabama eliminates that problem by providing these services at either no cost or a low cost," she says. "When people adopt pets from shelters and have them spayed/neutered, then less pets are neglected and euthanized."
